Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Ohio Grassroots Victory Fund will be allocated in the following order for individuals and non-multicandidate committees (“I”) and multicandidate committees (“PAC”) respectively:
The first $3,500 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to Friends of Sherrod Brown for the primary election; next $3,500 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to Friends of Sherrod Brown for the general election; next $10,000 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to the Ohio Democratic Party – Federal; next $5,000 (I and PAC) to America Works Federal PAC; next $44,300 (I) and $15,000 (PAC) to the DSCC general account; next $265,800 (I) and $90,000 (PAC) to the DSCC’s headquarters fund or voter protection/legal defense fund up to the legal limits.
Contributions or gifts to Ohio Grassroots Victory Fund are not tax deductible. A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by emailing brown@acuitypolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution. Contributions will be used in connection with a federal election.
