Our Blue Rev tossup candidate this week is Lucy McBath, running to flip Georgia-6 red to blue.


Lucy is a passionate, inspiring social justice activist. She was a flight attendant for 30 years, until her son Jordan Davis was shot to death at a gas station, for playing loud music in his car. This spawned Lucy to action, and she became the national spokesperson for Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action, as well as Faith and Outreach Leader for both.


GA-6 is where Jon Ossoff nearly won in a 2017 special election against Republican Karen Handel. Handel is a rubber stamp for Trump: she votes with him 87.5% of the time (https://53eig.ht/2LLtjqd). She voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, she voted in favor of the Trump tax scam, and she has loudly supported Trump's efforts to suppress the vote with voter ID laws.


She's gotta go.


This is a very winnable district IF we all step up and mobilize early. Georgia 6 be lucky to have such an amazingly brave, inspiring woman in congress, ready to serve her constituents. Please be as generous as you can with your donation.
