Every day, immigrant parents and workers in Michigan get up in the morning to go to work or to leave their children in school. Many of them have to do it by foot, using public transportation, or they ask for a ride because they don’t want to run any risks of driving without a license. Many others take the risk and drive because they have no other choice - holding their breath the whole way.
