Gabriel "Gabe" Vasquez is a first-generation American who grew up in the borderlands of New Mexico. His mother’s dedication to providing for their family deeply influenced his commitment to public service. Gabe became the first in his family to be born in the United States and has since dedicated his life to advocating for his community.


Gabe won one of the most competitive congressional seats in 2022, representing New Mexico’s 2nd District. In his first term, he prioritized creating good-paying jobs, lowering inflation, and ensuring access to affordable healthcare. Gabe also focused on conserving New Mexico’s public lands and championed reproductive rights, immigration reform, and labor rights.
