RSVP for Kevin’s October 29 campaign fundraiser, an evening to celebrate equal access!
Kevin and equal-access legend Melissa Ludtke will speak about the importance of access for all and share insight on their work to deliver equal opportunity.
Kevin has led successful campaigns for equal access within the 74th Assembly District and will bring to Albany his tireless fight to provide a level playing field for all.
When Kevin saw the largest locked public green space in Midtown East was only for a select few, he didn’t stop his fight until the city opened the space for all. He founded an all-volunteer conservancy to make sure the space was stewarded, then continued his equal-access mission for the space when he secured funding to build the garden’s first ADA-accessible entrance and pathway.
Melissa was a Sports Illustrated baseball reporter in 1978 when she won a landmark federal lawsuit against Major League Baseball’s commissioner, the New York Yankees and the City of New York that gave female journalists equal access and opened the door for generations of women to be hired in sports media.
Join Kevin and Melissa on the 29th for a fun, educational and ADA-accessible experience.
