Let's flip Florida blue one district at a time!

I am a lifelong Democrat who believes in the core democratic values- I am pro choice, believe in sensible gun laws, fairness, justice, love and equality for all. I am a strong union advocate, and remain a union officer in the retiree chapter of my workplace to continue supporting the causes I believe in. These include protecting Medicare and Social Security; we worked hard for these all our lives and some politicians constantly seek to eliminate or reduce them. These should both be "hands off" for politicians and the government.

I support a higher minimum wage in Florida, and people should have the right to organize.

I also support legalization of marijuana.

I believe Florida's environment should be a main priority because of our quality of life, economics and our tourism industry.

The GOP continues to try to restrict voting rights; I believe they should be expanded, and voting should be more accessible, not less, especially for senior citizens.

To do my part and to do what I can on a local level, I am running for Florida State House of Representatives, District 68.
