Douglas County is the heart of Nebraska's Blue Dot. In 2024, we have elections for the Legislature that could restore a Democratic filibuster, for Congress that could flip the House majority, and for President that could secure a veto against dangerous Republican legislation.

But, it is also the first year with a new voter ID law.
