The Town of Esopus Democratic Committee is a diverse and committed group of individuals dedicated to advancing the principles of the democratic party in our community and electing local and county representatives that will embrace these ideals.

With your support we will elect candidates committed to conserving our natural resources and protecting our environment. We believe in open government, fully accessible to the public - so will the people your contribution dollars help elect. We believe in fairness for working families and opportunity for enterprising people; that taxation should be fair and based upon the ability of the taxpayer to pay. We believe that there is a strong role for an honest, open government that supports peoples’ lives and dreams.
At the local level our democratic elected leaders have worked to bring our community into the 21st century and help preserve and protect our natural resources by fighting for more renewable energy. We have collaborated with local business and non profit leaders to lay the groundwork for more and better employment opportunities, while working to improve the overall quality of life for Esopus residents.
