Since 2018 Lise has been tirelessly and successfully representing the voices of the community on the Select Board as we have weathered big changes, including climate events, housing shortages, and the unprecedented impacts of the pandemic.

In her fifty years of history in Provincetown, she has been deeply influenced by the beauty of the place and the people here, and she truly understands and respects the values and the culture of our beloved home.

Most recently, Lise has championed our public health and our economic recovery and is doing so once again as we both protect community health and nurture our critical businesses.

Lise has a proven record of decades of public service in both her professional and personal life – from working with tribes and serving as a White House media liaison, to helping Governor Charlie Baker, Senator Ed Markey, and Attorney General Maura Healy address the opioid crisis, to co-founding the Provincetown Covid-19 task Force and acting as a founding board member of the Provincetown Public Art Foundation.

Lise is a responsive leader and trusted advocate for the people of Provincetown and has been consistently working to improve community engagement and government transparency.
