Catch the Next, Inc. is dedicated to scaling up the proven and successful model of the Puente Project in Texas and beyond. The need is enormous. Over 40% of the students entering community colleges in Texas are placed in developmental (remedial) education. The majority of these students get discouraged and drop out. Only one in five students placed in developmental education will receive a degree within six years. Catch the Next/Puente breaks this cycle and gets students on track to succeed, using a combination of accelerated English instruction, counseling, community mentoring and peer support. Our results show that CTN-Puente students have double the success rate of their peers. Won’t you help us support and expand our program?
Any amount you donate is appreciated. $50 will support student activities and field trips. $100 will support a community mentor. $1000 will support a student’s participation in our program for an entire year.
All donations are tax deductible. CTN is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, certified by the IRS.
