Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I understand that it is unlawful for a contributor to be reimbursed by any organization, business, or similar entity for a contribution supporting or opposing a City candidate.
Political contributions are not tax deductible. City law limits contributions to $600 per individual per election. City laws only permit personal checks. Business, organization, or committee checks are prohibited. State & local law prohibits reimbursing donors for their contribution.
