I am running for School Board, because I have the drive and experience to represent and support Glendale's uniquely exciting educational community.
My ability to engage with and learn from diverse communities has enabled me to bring folks together throughout my life to collaborate and impact positive change. My own multi-faceted background, my proven leadership skills, and my advocacy experience, also enables me to run. As a mother in the district, I want to see my kids have the best education possible, and want to help the district in providing that - not just for my kids, but for all of our district’s young people.
As a school board member, I will do my best to make sure that our students, staff, and administration have access to the resources they need to feel supported and to thrive. And, I will work to engage with the community, so that I am not just bringing my distinct voice and experiences to the school board, but I am actively amplifying the many distinct voices in our educational community.
