Rita Mac Auslan for NH State Representative

Goal thermometer

Nashua - Ward 5 District 32

Our State Representatives should be focused on passing legislation that will move New Hampshire forward for all citizens. Legislation that:

  • Prevents the erosion of women's rights and civil rights in general.

  • Ensures the adequacy of basic education and reverses the increasing high cost of higher education.

  • Ensures that we do not rest on our laurels with the Affordable Care Act. It's a good first step, and one that helped my family personally during recent hard times, but that's all it is: a first step towards Universal Health care. We must not stop here!
We need State Representatives who believe in serving their constituents and all of the people of New Hampshire.

You know me as a Democrat who is an  independent  thinker.  I am  socially liberal  and  fiscally responsible.

I will not support legislation just because my political party introduced it; but I will support legislation – no matter who introduced it – if it is constitutional, ethical, and in the best interests of my constituents and the citizens of New Hampshire.

All the people in my Ward are my constituents – not just those who happen to be registered as Democrats. (My voting record from my previous term in the New Hampshire General Court supports this.)

Your contribution of $100 will buy my campaign 500 get out the vote postcards. Your contribution of $50 will buy my campaign a small advertisement in the local newspaper, and your contribution of $25 will buy my campaign 10 lawn signs.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
