Join Allies for Educational Equity

Goal thermometer

We are a community of practitioners and advocates, personally committed to improving outcomes for all children. We are Allies for Educational Equity.

Our mission is to unite the political voice of education reformers so that zip codes don't determine destinies.

Some of us work in P12 schools, public policy or in advocacy. Some of us are high quality charter supporters. Some see promise in district reform and are agnostic about school governance type.

Nonetheless, we ALL believe that:

  • All children have the ability to achieve at high levels and believe that lives can be changed through classrooms and schools;
  • A great education shouldn't be a matter of zip code or luck;
  • High-performing public charter schools are an important component of a healthy public education system;
  • Supporting all children to reach their potential will ensure a bright future for our country.

Our pooled funds may not change the outcome of an election, but our existence will send a message that we exist as a cause-focused corps that, as we grow, will become a political force.

We will not be a mass of thousands to start. Rather, we’ll start modestly. By showing up ourselves first, we will inspire the many, many other allies nationwide to join us in this effort.
