Assembly Member Rendon currently serves as the chair of the Water, Parks & Wildlife Committee. He also serves as a member of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee; Public Employees, Retirement and Social Security; Local Government; and, Utilities & Commerce.

Assembly Member Rendon currently represents the 63rd Assembly District that includes the cities of Bell, Cudahy, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Lynwood, Maywood, Paramount, South Gate, and the community of North Long Beach.
