Contribute Now to Here it Comes

Here it comes. Last week we learned from reliable sources that I am one of the top two targets of the Republicans in the State Assembly. They just needed to get past the primary so they had a candidate to steer their flood of money to. That candidate is Bruce Evers, and he wasted no time on election night trying to draw first blood. It's going to get ugly, and it's going to get expensive.

Last year, the Republicans and their rich, corporate friends spent over $300,000 on attack ads against me, distorting my record and making outright lies. They want Mike Huebsch's old seat back and are willing to buy it back.

I'll never be able to match them in spending, but I need to get up on the air as soon as possible to blunt the wave of attack ads that are coming. Here's the bottom line -- we need $5,000 for a quick radio buy and we need it now. Can you chip in $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford to push back against the tidal wave of lies and distortions coming our way?

As always, a few dollars from many can push back against the few with many dollars. Anything you can do to support me would be greatly appreciated.
