Alan Grayson-- Cosmic Thing

This contest is now over... but the page is live in case you want to contribute to Grayson's reelection campaign.

Most of the Members of Congress don't inspire confidence on any level at all-- which explains why congressional approvals have hovered around single digits all year. But there are conscientious, honest, idealistic, dedicated, values-driven men and women who somehow manage to get into Congress as well. Miraculous. And if we had to pick the cream of the crop from what we've seen in the last few years, we wouldn't hesitate to point right to Alan Grayson. He' s smart, tireless, effective and a true friend to working families.

This week we're offering one random donor on this page an opportunity to receive a thank you from Blue America in the form of a quadruple platinum RIAA-certified award for the B-52's most beloved album, Cosmic Thing. And not just that, but an opportunity to fly to Orlando, Florida-- on us-- where Congressman Grayson and one of his most distinguished supporters, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, will personally present the plaque.

There's no minimum-- a $10 contribution has just as much chance to be selected as a $1,000 contribution. Keeping Alan in Congress is worth a helluva lot more than that.

This offer ends at noon (PT) on Friday, October 9.
