Black and Pink is a nationally networked grassroots organization working to abolish the prison industrial complex while meeting the immediate needs of LGBTQ and HIV+ prisoners.
- With YOUR help we are able to create a monthly newspaper of prisoner-generated content, which we mail to nearly 14,000 prisoners
- With YOUR support we are able to facilitate pen pal connections between thousands of people inside and outside of prison
- With YOUR generosity we can post bail to get people out of jail, build campaigns to end solitary confinement, support people as they go through court, pay formerly incarcerated staff, cover transportation costs for formerly incarcerated volunteers, and so much more!
The work of Black and Pink is made possible because of the financial gifts and endless volunteer hours of so many people. Too often LGBTQ and HIV+ prisoners are forgotten in efforts to seek justice.
TOGETHER we can change that
TOGETHER we can strengthen our movement
TOGETHER we can win the struggle for abolition!
