All contributions to the Brendan Johnson Draft Fund are earmarked contributions within the meaning of 11 C.F.R. §110.6(b). The Brendan Johnson Draft Fund is a fund of ActBlue political action committee. It is not a Draft Committee, nor is it affiliated with any Draft Committee associated with Brendan Johnson. Contributions to this fund are intended for the 2014 election cycle and are limited to $2,600 per person. Your contribution to this fund, combined with any other contributions you might make to Brendan Johnson's campaign committee (should one eventually be established) which are designated for the primary election for Senate in 2014, is subject to the limit set by 11 C.F.R. §110.1(b)(1) (currently $2,600). In the event that Brendan Johnson has not registered a campaign committee with the FEC as a Democratic candidate for Senate in South Dakota in 2014 by 5:00p.m. ET by the last Tuesday in March (March 25, 2014), your contribution will be redesignated as a direct contribution to the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. Please note that if, when added to all other contributions you may have made to Progressive Change Campaign Committee this calendar year, the redesignated contribution causes the aggregate amount of all contributions to Progressive Change Campaign Committee to exceed the limit set by 11 C.F.R. §110.1(d) (currently $5,000), an excessive contribution will result. In that case, the excess amount will be refunded to you.
