Contribution Rules

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  2. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  3. I am not a federal contractor.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
  5. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  6. I understand that contributions or gifts to the DCCC are not tax deductible.

Contributions or gifts to DSCC are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

An individual can contribute as much as $33,900 ($67,800 per couple) per calendar year to the DCCC’s general fund for use at the DCCC’s sole discretion. The next $101,700 of an individual’s contribution will be for the DCCC’s building fund. All amounts in excess of this, up to the legal limits, will be for the DCCC’s recount fund.

Contributions and gifts to Gerry Connolly for Congress are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions to Friends of Mark Warner are limited to $5,400 per individual ($2,700 for the primary election and $2,700 for the general election) and federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $10,000 ($5,000 for the primary election and $5,000 for the general election). Spouses (including legally married same-sex couples) may contribute $10,400 ($5,200 each) by one check drawn from a joint account and signed by both individuals.

Contributions and gifts to the McNerney for Congress Committee are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions and gifts to Loebsack for Congress are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions and gifts to Richmond for Congress are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions and gifts to The Bill Keating Committee are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Oregon offers an income tax credit to residents who contribute to qualifying state, federal or local political campaigns. The total credit is limited to $100 on a joint return or $50 on a single or separate return. Please see OregonTaxCredit.com for details.
