Help us reach150 Donors! Christy Smith for Assembly 2018

Goal Thermometer

Friends, I am excited to announce my candidacy for California's 38th Assembly District in 2018.

As a Newhall School Board member, long time resident of our community, and proud mother, I am confident that the leadership I will bring to Sacramento reflects our values, including common sense, compassion, and hard work.

As a school board president I have had to take on special interests for the benefit of our community. These fights were not easy and we did not always win, but our children are always worth the battle. This is the kind of passion I will bring as your Assemblywoman. Tough, determined, and always thinking about our families.

When I ran in 2016, we almost won this seat with little to no early resources and support. This time we have hit the ground running with the support of Speaker Anthony Rendon, 90% of California Democratic Party delegates in our district, and many others.

Make no mistake, this race will not be easy. The other side will throw everything they have against me to hold onto this seat. They know I can win, but I need your support to make it happen.

We have set an ambitious goal to reach 250 grassroots donors in our district by June 30th. We have already reached 100 donors and only have 150 to go!

Whether its $5, $25, or $100, your early support will ensure our long term success.
