Help us get to gender equality in the California State Legislature.

Close the Gap California is a statewide campaign to close the gender gap in the California Legislature by recruiting progressive women and preparing them to launch competitive campaigns in targeted districts. We recruit accomplished women who are pro-choice, pro-public school funding and support paths out of poverty. Close the Gap CA aims to achieve gender balance-- 50% women-- serving in the California Legislature by 2028.

Federal tax law requires us to publicly report cumulative contributions of $200 or more. We may not deposit your contribution without your name, occupation and employer, and may not accept contributions of $100 or more made in cash. Contributions to Close the Gap California are not tax-deductible. Close the Gap California is a registered 527 organization. Close the Gap California is not a political action committee and does not make campaign expenditures or contributions to candidates.
