Council for a Livable World

Contribute to Senator Tester's campaign and Council for a Livable World

We've officially endorsed Senator Jon Tester, a Democrat running for re-election in Montana. We've endorsed Senator Tester twice before, and this election is critical for the future of progressive national security.

President Trump carried Montana 56%-36% in 2016, and Tester is a top hawkish target. The Senator has won two close elections for Senate, and next year is not expected to be any different.

The Senator voted for the New START Treaty and for the Iran nuclear agreement and has a progressive national security voting record.

For progressive national security advocates to regain control of the Senate, they have to win in states with strong agricultural interests and a substantial rural base. Senator Tester, who continues to run his family farm growing organic crops, fits that profile as an authentic Montanan who can win the state.

Please consider splitting a donation between Council for a Livable World and Senator Tester! We have never needed your voice and advocacy more. Thank you for your support!
