Matt Coffay, NC-11

The hardworking people of Western North Carolina have been let down by both political parties over the years. Politicians rig the game for big businesses, but leave small-town America to fend for itself. I know firsthand because I’ve been a farmer and a small business owner. And I know the pressures of trying to make it from paycheck to paycheck. The people of Western North Carolina don't want a handout; they deserve their fair shot at the American Dream. If I’m elected to represent North Carolina's 11th District in Congress I’ll never forget who I’m working for. I’ll fight to get Medicare For All. And it’s past time we raised the minimum wage from a starvation wage of $7.25 per hour to a living wage of $15 per hour.
