Courage for WA/Approve Referendum 74

Goal Thermometer

On November 6, Washington State will vote on whether to approve Referendum 74 and retain the marriage equality law signed earlier this year. With the Supreme Court considering whether to hear the Prop 8 case, it's critical that we win these state votes. The latest poll out November 1 by the University of Washington shows our side leading, 52-46% -- too close to call in a marriage contest. Preserve Marriage Washington is up on the air with ads that include lies about school lessons on marriage and another that concludes "You can oppose same-sex marriage and not be anti-gay. Don't redefine marriage. Reject R74." It's the same playbook all over again.

Hundreds of Courage members are already hitting the phones and barnstorming the state to persuade and get out the vote, but Washington United for Marriage asked if we could send even more members to help get out the vote in Seattle. Chip in to help cover travel expenses to get more Courage members to Seattle, and expand our capacity to make phone calls. If you chip in $22 or more, we'll send you a free Courage Campaign tote bag!
