Protect Social Security: Support Sen. Brian Schatz

This year, our top priority is to keep the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate. That means we can't just be on offense in states like Kentucky, South Dakota and Georgia. It means we must defend progressive champions under attack. Senator Brian Schatz in Hawai'i is at the top of that list.

Since Senator Schatz was appointed to fill Senator Inouye's seat at the end of 2012, he has tirelessly fought for the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party. He isn't just a reliable vote for progressives in Washington D.C. -- he takes it a step further and organizes other Senators to join him.

Whether he's fighting on the front lines against climate change, defending a woman's right to choose, or expanding Social Security, Brian Schatz has proven he's a true progressive leader.
