Dubuque Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet

Thank you for your interest in the Dubuque Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet. This year’s event will be held on Sunday 5 November at Grand River Conference Center, 500 Bell Street. The Conference Center will open at 12:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker at the Freedom Fund Banquet will be Antonio Mouzon, who was named Director of the Multicultural Family Center on July 17. Mouzon came to Multicultural Family Center after most recently serving as an Instructor of Personal Empowerment focused on Emotional Intelligence at the University of Dubuque. He led work with the Bridge Scholars Program, which assisted many first-generation, underprepared, and historically marginalized students to develop personally, professionally, and academically, inspiring them through a successful collegiate career.

Monies raised from the Freedom Fund banquet provide the operating funding for Dubuque Branch NAACP, as well as supporting the annual MLK Student Tribute and our Minority Scholarship program.
