Big news! First, we are excited to announce that the newest Senate President pro Tempore, Kevin de Leon, has agreed to be our keynote speaker for Dining with Democrats, held this year in a new venue in Corte Madera, on September 13.
Second, we have a new headquarters on Fourth St. in San Rafael set to open on July 6th. As you know from past years, Dining with Democrats is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps pay for our headquarters. The headquarters serves as our base for GOTV in November in order to keep our Democratic leaders in office, and maybe even retake some red districts.
That’s why we’re asking you now to sponsor this event and have your name featured in our expanded program. Ads for your business, campaign or cause will be available this year as well. A rate sheet is enclosed with this letter.
Dining with Democrats not only features Senator Kevin de Leon, but serves as our annual award ceremony where we present our Environmental and Peace Awards to two Democratic activists.
