This legislative session is off to a busy and productive start, filled with a new leadership position in the House, new successes for my district and legislative priorities, and new opportunities to advance our shared values.
I am grateful to be the Chair of the Joint Committee on Municipalities & Regional Government and am humbled by the trust my colleagues have placed in me. I am also honored to continue to co-chair the 66-member House Progressive Caucus and to take the lead on priority legislation of statewide environmental, labor, suicide prevention, immigrant rights, animal welfare, LGBTQ+, and reproductive justice organizations.
