Fellow Democrats,

All of us were witness to the uncontrolled spending by the conservative special interest groups during the 2014 campaign; the effect of "Citizen United" caused us in Iowa and Dubuque to lose good candidates for U.S. Senate and one for Congress from our very own county of Dubuque, all were out spent by big dollars.

Fundraising letters are most likely as abundant in you life as they are in ours, prioritizing our giving is up to the individual according to their choices, and so we ask that you help in our fundraising efforts this spring and through the year to be able to battle the onset of big money for the 2016 election cycle. Operating a headquarters from June until election day has a cost of around $1700.00 a month.

We have and can defeat our opponents with the volunteer help we enlist along with "Get out the Vote", and door to door efforts, phone calls, print ads and brochures, all of this comes with a price.

Your donation of $50.00, $25.00 or $10.00 will enable us to gear up for a feisty 2016 campaign; keeping in mind we will have a President, U.S. Senator and Congress along with our State and County official up for election in 2016. So we are reaching out to you this spring for financial help and a self addressed envelope is enclosed for your convenience.
