From prison redistricting to blocking the restoration of rights to ex-offenders to Voter ID, attacks by conservatives to suppress the Black vote are targeted, widespread and coordinated. The gunshots and police dogs our predecessors overcame to win these rights have returned in ways that are much more subtle and systemic.
But we have a plan to make every Black vote count. The opposition is well-funded and coordinated — but we know that if we break down the barriers for Black voters, and our allies in the new American electorate, we can defeat candidates like Trump this November. The key is for ColorOfChange to help organizers in key states amplify their votings rights campaigns to make impact. But we need to raise $60,000 by the end of March to be able to put on the necessary trainings. With your help, ColorOfChange can afford to fight Right wing attacks on Black people's freedom to vote.
