Collective PAC Fund for Black Candidates

Founded in 2016, The Collective PAC is a Political Action Committee whose mission is to build Black political power.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
  5. I am not a federal contractor.
  6. This contribution complies with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act, O.C.G.A. Sec 21-5-30, et seq.
  7. South Carolina: I am making this contribution with my own personal, corporate, or business credit card, and not a card issued to another person.
  8. I am not an employee of the Ohio public office for which the recipient of my contribution is a candidate.
  9. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor organization.
  10. I will disclose to the recipient of my contribution any contract I have with the political subdivision of Missouri to which the recipient of my contribution is seeking election.

Donors are permitted to give up to $3,000 to a candidate for statewide office. Donor and spouse may both individually give up to the $3000 limit. Candidates for the offices of Governor and Lieutenant Governor on the same ticket are considered a single candidate for the purpose of this section. The contribution limits apply to each election. This means that the primary election and general election are separate elections so long as the candidate is not an unopposed candidate as defined in s 106.011
Contributions to Friends of Ben Jealous are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Annotated Code of Maryland. An individual may contribute a maximum amount of $6,000 per four-year election cycle. Political action committees may contribute $6,000 per cycle. Contributions from corporations, sole proprietorships, general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, or real estate investment trusts are limited to $6,000 per cycle. All contributions must be made from the contributor’s personal funds. Foreign nationals are prohibited from making any contributions. The committee is required to obtain certain information about donors for compliance with Nevada campaign finance law. Nevada law allows donations up to $5,000 from each individual, corporation, PAC or other entity per election for a combined total of $10,000 for the Primary and General elections.
Contributions or gifts to JB for Governor are not tax deductible. Blue Wave Illinois 2018 is a project of JB for Governor and exists as a separate account within JB for Governor. Contributions made here will be placed in the Blue Wave Illinois 2018 account. A copy of our report filed with the State Board of Elections is (or will be) available on the Board’s official website (www.elections.il.gov) or for purchase from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois. State law prohibits certain state contractors, their parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, their significant shareholders and executive employees and the spouses of each, from contributing to JB for Governor. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle. Contributions are limited to $2700 per individual per election. The primary and general elections are separate elections, so individuals may give up to a total of $5400 for both elections.
