Dr. Louis Schlickman is Co-chair of Idaho Health Care for All, along with Dr. E. Gregory Thompson. IHCFA is the state chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program. Their ultimate focus is promoting a Single Payer public funding program for all necessary medical care predominantly delivered in the private health care system. He is a board certified internal medicine physician who specializes in the care of adults often with multiple and complex illnesses and also includes primary wellness care. He received his MD at Rush Medical College in 1992 and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA in 1995. He spent 3yrs in the US Air Force at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho and since then has worked in the Treasure Valley, currently in Meridian, ID with Praxis Medical Group. He also is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and serves as the Medical Director of Align Hospice also in Meridian, ID.
