You are cordially invited to join us for a luncheon honoring James M Redmond, Esq.

James served as a State Senator (Dem.) in the 66th and 67th Iowa General Assemblies (1975-1978), and in his opinion, his major accomplishment was the initiation of legislation and the primary force behind the creation of the Iowa Court of Appeals.

Upon completion of his military service he attended University of Iowa College of Law, he was admitted to the Iowa Bar on June 4, 1971 and moved to Orange County on August 1, 2000.

In addition to his efforts to create the Iowa Court of Appeals, Mr. Redmond was listed as one of the 10 most effective members of the Iowa Senate by the Des Moines Register for all four years he served in the Senate. He has served as Assistant Chairman to the Senate Judiciary Committee (66th G. A.), Chairman of the County Government Committee (67th G.
