Join us for a fun-filled weekend full of progressive fellowship and inspiration as we start the
COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY.

On Friday, April 8th from 5:00-8:30 PM, we will have the silent auction, hospitality rooms, a charity project for the homeless served at Bill’s Place and informational booths for political and community organizations. The location for the Friday night activities will be at the Oasis Convention Center, 2546 North Glenstone, Springfield, MO.

On Saturday, April 9th, the day will begin with the Democratic Alliance Breakfast at the Oasis Convention Center. Included with breakfast, our featured speakers will be Missouri State Treasurer candidates Judy Baker and Pat Contreras.

The noon Sponsors’ Luncheon, included with your Sponsorship ticket, will be held at the Hickory Hills County Club located at 3909 E. Cherry Street. We are proud to present Judy Domeny Bowen as our entertainment. Please feel free to check her out!

There will be a Sponsor's Cocktail Reception at the Oasis Convention Center followed by the Jackson Day Banquet at 6:30 PM. At the Banquet, we will be joined by several statewide Missouri Democratic elected officials, candidates, and our keynote speaker.

It is our pleasure to welcome as the 2016 Jackson Day banquet keynote speaker, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Eugene Robinson.



Eugene Robinson is a Washington Post columnist, MSNBC analyst and author. Mr. Robinson appears frequently on MSNBC’s programs such as Morning Joe, PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton, The Rachel Maddow Show, The Ed Show, Hardball with Chris Matthews, and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. In addition, he is often a panelist on NBC's public affairs program Meet the Press.

The Greene County Democrats are excited to welcome Mr. Robinson to the Ozarks.
