Meet the new WI Senate Democratic Leader

As the incoming Democratic leader in the Wisconsin State Senate, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you about what we will be working toward in the upcoming legislative session.

Here are just a few things that we will be fighting for when we start session next month:

Creating family-supporting jobs for Wisconsinites Re-investing in our local public schools to support Wisconsin's next generation of workers Increasing accountability and transparency in state agencies ensuring taxpayer dollars are wisely invested, Implementing a comprehensive, functional health care exchange in compliance with the Supreme Court upheld - Affordable Care Act. Hearing from real neighbors across the state about what they'd like to see us pursue

I am humbled and honored by the support of my senate colleagues have shown in me by electing me their leader. I will work hard every day to fulfill the duties that this position entails.
