Contribute Now to Blue America Better State Legislators
Until recently Democrats (and progressives) missed the boat on coordinating efforts to win majorities in the state legislatures. Republicans-- and outside right-wing groups-- haven't. They've done a great deal of damage on a state level, as we've seen in Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Arizona, Texas...
We're looking for strong advocates who will protect and advance progressive values in state and local legislatures and eventually move up through the political system. Call it "Blue America's Farm Team."
The 2020 cycle was a disaster for Democrats below the presidential level and we simply have to work harder and put more priority into winning more seats with better candidates in state and local legislatures.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am not an owner, director, officer, or named sub-contractor of any entity that is currently negotiating a contract with the City and County of San Francisco, Board of Supervisors, or of any entity that received such a contract within the last twelve months.
- I am not a contract or expenditure lobbyist in the City of San Francisco.
- My aggregated contribution(s) to this committee do not exceed $500.
- This contribution is not from a corporation, limited liability company, or limited liability partnership.
- Under the penalty of perjury, I do not have a financial interest in a land use matter, as defined in Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code section 1.127(a) (which excludes my primary residence),that is currently pending before the Board of Appeals, Board of Supervisors, Building Inspection Commission, Commission on Community Investment and Infrastructure, Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Commission, Port Commission, or Treasure Island Development Authority Board of Directors, nor have I had a financial interest in any such land use matter for which any of these boards or commissions has rendered a final decision or ruling within the last twelve months.
