For decades, we have engaged in voter registration drives to increase overall participation, make our democracy more representative and bring into the process communities that were systematically or institutionally excluded. But, what if we could render them unnecessary by getting at the root of the problem?
Automatic Voter Registration (AVR) would do just that. AVR would register every eligible voter unless he or she opted out. It’s that simple.
So, iVote is launching The Last Voter Registration Drive (LVRD) to pass AVR.
