A few days ago we went to the New Mexico Legislature to let them know why the women in New Mexico's correctional system shouldn't have to serve more time than they are sentenced to, because there are more prison beds than halfway houses and reintegration programs. Getting the word out to people isnt free, and we need your help to fund the projects you want to take to the capitol. Not just on the steps but inside the chamber.
