Act Blue does not currently allow candidates for for county level races to have their own fundraising accounts. However, Act Blue does allow Democratic organizing groups, including Kennebec County Democratic Committee, to serve as a donation host for these races. While the donation tab you see says Kennebec County Democratic Committee, your entire donation will go Maeghan's District Attorney campaign.
A District Attorney's race is one of the largest in Maine. We have to reach nearly 120,000 voters from Gardiner to Jackman. Your contribution will help create and distribute campaign literature and aid in our voter outreach efforts throughout Kennebec and Somerset counties. Contact the campaign manager if you want to know more about where your donations are being spent.
