Martin Heinrich

Shenanigans

Goal thermometer

The American Future Fund, one of those so-called “issue advocacy” groups that does not have to disclose its donors, has put out a new ad attacking Martin.

The ad stretches the truth to say the least, attacking Martin for voting for the stimulus package in an attempt to make it look like he voted for a bill that sent trillions of dollars overseas and to failed companies.

Even the most fervent opponents of the stimulus bill would admit that any “failed companies” and “jobs overseas” were a tiny portion of the bill, at best.

The ad is so bad that the Pulitzer Prize-winning group Politifact.com called this ad False!

Martin has never backed down from a fight and the stakes
