Contribute now to support the fight for incarcerated people's basic human rights.

Incarcerated people across the country recently held a four-week strike, the largest prison strike in U.S. history. In over 17 states, prisoners held sit-ins, hunger strikes, commissary boycotts, and work strikes to call for basic human rights. Many prisoners are continuing the strike at their discretion. Organizers both inside and outside of the prison system, especially Jailhouse Lawyers Speak (JLS), are fighting relentlessly until there is justice. Please chip in today.

Jailhouse Lawyers Speak (JLS) is a national collective of imprisoned people fighting for prisoners' human rights by providing legal education, resources, and assistance to other prisoners. It is through JLS that the ten demands of the 2018 National Prison Strike are being thrust into the mainstream for action.
