Progressive Mass

Goal thermometer

It's my birthday! I would be honored by your contribution to Progressive Massachusetts, a project that had some of its first meetings in my living room!

It is near and dear to me. Progressive Mass strengthens the political organizing and activism that you and I have been doing together for the last several years, providing resources, structure, information, networks, access and time-critical action alerts. The founding principle is that grassroots, people-powered organizing is the way to better politics, better government and progressive policies.

If we want to see political change, we must commit to OWN our politics -- and that means investing in the organizational infrastructure that represents us and our interests.

This year, I’m asking you to really dig deep and commit to a recurring monthly donation.

A strong progressive grassroots organization can drive our agenda on Beacon Hill -- investment in communities, justice in our economic policies, fighting to make the principles of “all means all” a reality.

Is that worth a dollar a day? That’s $28/month.

Is it worth what you’d spend on one fancy coffee drink per week? Let’s call that $20/month.

It would be a great honor to me if you joined Progressive Mass and became a true partner and owner in the progressive project. THANK YOU!

If you're already a monthly contributor, here are some other birthday-themed options:

  • $52.15 -- 5/2/15 -- my birthdate this year
  • or...
  • $29.00 -- the age I think I am
  • $40-something -- the age I really am
  • $70.00 -- for the Nixonian decade of my birth
  • $555.00 -- the # of days from my birthday to the 2016 Presidential elections
  • It is a great privilege and joy to be with you in the struggle. Thank you for your incredible birthday present!
