Swing NV-04 Left!

In this open seat race, Democrat Steven Horsford, the first African-American to represent Nevada in Congress, is running for his old seat against Cresent Hardy, a Republican legislator who also used to represent the district.

As the state’s first African-American senate majority leader, Horsford passed a clean energy jobs initiative that made Nevada a national leader in solar energy. Horsford also represented the district in Congress from 2013 to 2015, where he served as member of House Progressive Caucus. He’s campaigning to expand healthcare coverage and lower the price of prescription medication.

Cresent Hardy is a former Republican member of Congress who said he stood by Trump “100%” in 2016 but then unendorsed him. Now he’s running to rubber-stamp the Trump agenda in Washington He’s campaigning on reducing spending on public schools and repealing parts of Obamacare, and he proudly touts his “A” rating from the NRA.

Block by block, call by call, and donation by donation, we're working together to direct progressive energy from deep blue districts to Swing Districts that will decide control of the House.
