Saturday represents a crucial fundraising deadline for campaigns across the country.

Mark Takano is running to represent the 41st Congressional District in California. The 41st is a new Democratic-leaning district in the Inland Empire. A Takano win will also help maintain the proportion of LGBT members in the House of Representatives from diminishing due to the retirement of Congressman Barney Frank among others.
