Put Anti-Science Members of Congress on Notice

Under the Scope is a project of 314 Action that will magnify members of Congress who are anti-science and put them on notice. Donations to Under the Scope will be used to raise awareness in the home districts of these Representatives that their anti-science stances are economically and environmentally costly to their constituents and thereby reduce re-election prospects.

Lamar Smith (TX-21), Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48), and Steve Knight (CA-25) are three of the top Anti-Science members of the House Science Committee that Under the Scope will initially target.

Chip in today to Under the Scope to put them on notice>>

Chairman Lamar Smith received more than $600k from the gas and oil industry and the committee has issued more subpoenas to scientists than ever before.

Dana Rohrabacher called climate change "a total fraud" and once joked that dinosaur flatulence might be the cause of climate change.

Steve Knight voted against closing loopholes in the Clean Air Act that allow the oil and gas industry to release dangerous amounts of air pollution.
