Support principled reformer Zephyr Teachout for Congress

Goal Thermometer

"...a leader in a time when we need leaders" - Bernie Sanders

Democracy won’t fix itself. It needs your and Zephyr's help.

Congresswoman Zephyr Teachout would support the Government By the People Act, supported by over 160 bipartisan members of Congress, to clean up our dirty politics. It would incentivize candidates to rely on donations from regular citizens, who can’t afford more than $250 for a candidate they believe in. This would largely end the control special interests hold over the political process–including the cleanliness of our own water.

How were the candidates raised?

Zephyr Teachout grew up on a farm with 4 siblings, sheep, chickens, pigs, and a bull. [The Nation, 8/15/14]

John Faso grew up in Long Island’s Nassau County. [New York Post, 3/15/06]

Property taxes

While John Faso was in Albany, property taxes increased 43% due to tax breaks for wealthy New York City Interests.

Zephyr Teachout wants to give property tax relief to Hudson Valley residents, and eliminate handouts to wealthy special interests.

Pledge your continued support - help our volunteers get Zephyr into Congress and then help her fight to fix our democracy! Folks can volunteer to help.
