Contribution rules

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. I am not a federal contractor.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to Ohio Grassroots Victory Fund will be allocated in the following order for individuals and non-multicandidate committees (“I”) and multicandidate committees (“PAC”) respectively: The first $3,500 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to Friends of Sherrod Brown for the primary election; next $3,500 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to Friends of Sherrod Brown for the general election; next $10,000 (I) and $5,000 (PAC) to the Ohio Democratic Party – Federal; next $5,000 (I and PAC) to America Works Federal PAC; next $44,300 (I) and $15,000 (PAC) to the DSCC general account; next $265,800 (I) and $90,000 (PAC) to the DSCC’s headquarters fund or voter protection/legal defense fund up to the legal limits. Contributions or gifts to Ohio Grassroots Victory Fund are not tax deductible. A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by emailing brown@acuitypolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution. Contributions will be used in connection with a federal election.
