Let's help the 9th District Asylum Seekers

Chicago is undergoing an influx of asylum seekers from South America. Many are ending up in the 9th District Police Station. Conditions can include families sleeping on the ground, infrequent meals, little to no access to showers, lack of essential supplies, clothing, and more. Meanwhile, the city is struggling to gain funding.

We, the 11th Ward IPO, are requesting donations for supporters on the ground to directly assist our new neighbors. We will funnel your contributions to those that can put it to use in finding supplies, buying ingredients and labor for food prep, as well as supplying essentials. We will be actively updating our socials to provide transparency on usage of these funds.
