Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky is asking for a donation of up to $2,700 per election. Congresswoman Schakowsky is not asking for funds from corporations, labor organizations, or other federally prohibited sources.
Contributions to Friends of Josina Morita are not deductible for tax purposes. A copy of our report filed with the State Board of Elections is/or will be available on the Board’s official website (www.elections.il.gov) or for purchase from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois. State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for individuals for all contributions greater than $500.
According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, campaign contribution limits are $5,400 from an individual, $10,800 from a corporation and $53,900 from a political action committee.
